- What is the attire for MAX 2007 Europe?

Casual attire is appropriate for the entire week. Bring a sweater or sweatshirt in case of cool temperatures in session rooms.
- Is there coat check and baggage storage available at the convention center?

A permanent coat check is available at the Event Centre.
- Are attendees permitted to bring guests?
-
Attendees are permitted to register a guest for a fee of €75 until
October 13. After October 13, the fee will increase to €100, if space is still available. Registered guests are permitted to attend the Welcome Reception and the Event Party. These two events are not available for purchase individually. Guest passes will be available for a fee throughout registration and during the event. Each guest pass holder must be accompanied by a paid MAX 2007 Europe registration holder. The guest pass does not include access to any sessions, continental breakfasts or lunches, or any other activities that are reserved for attendees with full-event passes. The number of guest passes is limited and registration is available on a
first-come, first-served basis.

- How do I get from my hotel to the event?

MAX 2007 Europe will provide free shuttle service between the following hotels: Hotel Majestic, Hotel Torre Catalunya, Hotel Vincci Condal Mar, Hotel Barcelona Universal, Hotel Icaria, Expo Hotel and the event at the CCIB. The shuttle schedule will be provided to all registered attendees in a final details email sent the week of October 1.
- What is the registration process?

Registration is now open. To register for MAX 2007 Europe and take advantage of online pricing discounts, simply complete the online registration and submit payment by September 21, 2007. NOTE: All Post-Event Day Hands-On Training Sessions, which are offered as a supplement to the standard event schedule, are priced in addition to your registration fee.
- When will I receive my MAX 2007 Europe pass?

MAX 2007 Europe passes are available for pickup onsite at the registration area at the CCIB during designated registration hours (below). All related event materials will be available for pick-up in the registration area once you have checked in. A government issued, photo ID will be required to activate your pass and to collect your MAX 2007 Europe materials. Your pass is required for admission to all event session events and activities. A fee will be charged for any replacement pass printed.
- Is onsite registration available?

Onsite registration will begin on Sunday, October 14, 2007, at 12:01 pm at the CCIB. The onsite registration fee is payable only by credit card. We accept MasterCard and Visa. Please note that availability in sessions may be limited by the time onsite registration begins.

- Are attendee substitutions permitted?

Attendee substitutions from within the same company may be made at any time but must be made in writing. Substituting registration status to an individual outside of your company will not be granted. Please send an email to questions-europe@adobemax2007.com. Substitutions are not confirmed until you receive written approval from the MAX Planning Team.
- What is the cancellation policy?
-
Event cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to questions-europe@adobemax2007.com and received by Adobe before Friday, September 21, 2007 to receive a full refund, less an administration fee for event program management of €250 for the event program and €35 for the guest pass if one was purchased during the registration process. Cancellation requests received by Adobe after Friday, September 21, 2007 will be ineligible for refund.
- Will there be special rates offered by hotels in Barcelona?

MAX 2007 Europe attendees qualify for special rates, which range from €117 - €270 per night plus taxes (currently 7%). Click here to see Hotel details and specific rates.
In order to obtain negotiated rates, rooms must be booked during the MAX 2007 Europe registration process. Please do not contact the hotels directly to make these reservations, as they will not be able to provide the discounted rate.
Register as early as possible to book your preferred hotel, preferably by Aug. 10, 2007. After this date, accommodations may be extremely limited. Hotel confirmations will be e-mailed to you from hotel-barcelona@adobemax2007.com no later than October 1, 2007. You will not receive a direct confirmation from the hotel. Reservations will be listed under the guest's last name.
Once a hotel reservation has been made, you are responsible for making any date changes or cancellations. Please return to your MAX 2007 Europe registration record and update it with any hotel changes. Failure to cancel an unused hotel reservation will result in all applicable penalties being billed to your Credit Card.
- Will there be shuttles available from the hotels to the CCIB?

Session topics and speakers for MAX 2007 Europe have already been selected. If you are interested in presenting at future Adobe MAX events, please contact max-info@adobe.com with your contact information and proposed topic.
- How long are the sessions?
-
Workshop sessions last 40-50 minutes for presentations and 10 minutes for questions and answers for a total of 60 minutes. Hands-On training sessions last 90 minutes and consist of presentations, demonstrations, examples, and hands-on class exercises. Post-Event sessions last from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with a break for lunch.
- How were topics and speakers selected for MAX 2007 Europe?

The MAX 2007 Europe Planning Team conducted a call for topics that closed on April 10, 2007. They then provided the suggestions to the Content Development Committee. The committee, which consists of a combination of representatives from multiple organizations within Adobe, developed the final session topics for each track. Each topic was evaluated based on its relevance to the overall event program. Speaker experience and history was considered when selecting presenters.
